The Ministry of Finance submitted an amendment to the Parliament with the measures to support employees and companies announced by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the TIF.
The regulation for the support measures is expected to be voted tomorrow in the Parliament and among other things it foresees:
- The payment of ENFIA can be made in 6 monthly installments with the first and second installment being paid until the last working day of October 2021-09-30
- Animal feed excluding dog and cat food, etc. is subject to a reduced VAT of 6% instead of 13%.
- The provision of services from gyms and dance schools from 13 to 1.10.2021 is subject to a reduced VAT rate of 30.6.2022%
- The application of the reduced VAT rate of 30.6.2021% for specific goods and services is extended until 13
- The tax-free amount of donations and parental benefits of assets is increased to 800.000 euros from the current 150.000 euros
- The capital tax rate is reduced to 0,5%
- The imposition of the pay-TV fee is suspended until 30.6.2021
- Reduced fees for mobile, prepaid subscribers are redefined. Especially for individuals aged 15 to 29 years the fees are zero
- Payment of the subsidized electricity consumption subsidy is foreseen by the Energy Transition Fund
