The continuation of the article of Pan. Carnation
Humanity is now outraged by hypocrisy, cynicism, callousness, indifference, exploitation, inhumanity. And I'm afraid that humanity has changed from some powerful, economically and militarily, to a vast FLOWER MINERY where people are mined as products. And the emblem of the powerful, economically and militarily, but not morally, is (permit me the slogan) the 5 A's: atheism, unfair competition, arrogance, indifference, greed. Humanity has entered (the cadet is trapped) in a vicious cycle of tragic conflicts of expediency of power in whatever form it appears or in successive guises to mislead and disorientate. In the case of terrorism, humanity is caught in a vicious cycle of conflicts as an end in themselves, caused by dark circles of religious or political fanaticism, or authoritarianism and profiteering with pathological individuals or groups as protagonists.
Also, the international society has become trapped and addicted to the media etc. in a vicious cycle of violence and bitter competition where people "must" necessarily be divided into opposing camps so that there are "winners" and "losers", "winners" and "losers". The result of course is that in the end they are all defeated and lost. Certainly terrorism, any form of terrorism against innocents is condemnable. But terrorism must be defined and its root causes treated. History today after September 11, 2001, from the West's side, recalls the revival of collective security alliances of the Holy Alliance type and from the side of Islam, the revival of "holy wars". Those who are out of the game and out of any war game, officially, are the "Cocaine Barons" and all kinds of underworld "Barons" who have managed to buy almost any power and continue their heinous game undisturbed and undisturbed . World public opinion was shocked, especially our very socially sensitive - to their credit - countrymen, about the racial etc. inequalities in Afghanistan, where men beat their wives as if they were quadrupeds, or in Nigeria, where the underdeveloped state would punish by stoning a young woman who dared to "rush" or make love and have a child. Also in South Africa where, due to superstition, ignorance or delusion, men with AIDS, seek in every way to have sex with virgins in order to be cured, thus spreading the disease to thousands of innocent victims.
But have we seen international public opinion rise up over so many other man-made tragedies from nuclear testing? The excellent Secretary General of the UN Javier Perez de Cuellar, referring to the nuclear weapons, dared to ask: "By what right do some Powers decide on the future of humanity?" Also from chemical and biological weapons, from foreign occupation, from racism, from the destruction of the environment, from the criminal activities of drug trafficking rings, human trafficking, organ trafficking, immorality and, finally, terrorist acts? Or did you see any real reaction (other than Greece) to the senseless bombings against Yugoslavia - the absence of the UN - the threats and violations of the UN Charter and International Law by Turkey, etc. Why, for so many decades, the powerful as well as others were not honored to resolve the generative causes of terrorism so that public opinion does not have the impression that terrorism is yet another alibi for the criminalization, as we mentioned above, of global life in order to impose the antisocial, "Big Brother" crypto-fascist regime in all its "glory"? Are some systems unable to survive without "barbarians"? Terrorism is a new kind of war that has passed from the trenches to the cities, a nightmarish, secret, insidious, unexpected, unannounced, totalitarian war with its own rules, with its own "moral foundations" with its own politics and strategy, with its own his multifaceted face. And most importantly: it cannot be dealt with when the "terrorists" are people who are ready to sacrifice themselves for their beliefs, right or wrong. No force can stop them.
Terrorism is not countered with terrorism. Only those who want to transform human society into vast ghettos or camps and divide societies into guards and others to control and exploit do not bother to deal with the generative causes which are the main ones: ignorance, religious, ideological or political fanaticism , hunger, poverty, social injustice (social exclusion), exploitation, foreign occupation, colonialism, imperialism, etc. Apparently, (the assumption I make is completely personal and arbitrary, from what little knowledge of biology I have, but I hazard it) the balance of chemicals found in the human brain that regulate its function, have been altered by its constant bombardment with negative stimuli of violence, fear, etc. with the result that it has been overturned with the now familiar dramatic or tragic effects. Apparently, the essences of fear, rivalry, envy, hatred, etc., have prevailed, completely dominate some brains of the powerful so that eventually their consciousnesses have become distorted, porous, petrified.
