The Greek Community of Melbourne (HCM) is proud to announce the 4th annual Greek Community Cup.
The tournament will begin on Friday, November 15th and run until December 7th. It will be hosted by Mill Park Football Club and will bring together Greek-speaking football clubs and fans for another exciting celebration of skill, community and sportsmanship.
Following the success of the previous Hellenic Community Cup held in January, which featured top National Premier League (NPL) teams such as Heidelberg United, Oakleigh Cannons FC and reigning champions South Melbourne Hellas, this year's tournament promises another series of exciting matches.
The Hellenic Community Cup continues to promote athletic excellence, camaraderie and community connection. It offers clubs a great pre-season opportunity to try out new players and build momentum ahead of the regular season, while strengthening bonds between generations through a shared love of the game.
Each team will play a minimum of four matches, with regular matches lasting two 35-minute halves and final matches lasting two 45-minute halves. The winning team will receive the Hellenic Community Cup trophy, while the players will receive medals and cash prizes for the winning clubs.
The tournament also invites sponsors and financial supporters who wish to contribute to this growing community event.
