I was born in a cage, I'm hanging on my nail
The seeds are few, but they are all mine.
When I eat, I am transported somewhere to another universe.
I'm flying, I'm like a bird and I sing in a high pitch!
Many winters passed, warm, blooming, I got high, I sang, I didn't hold grudges.
Until you shone in the front window, you screamed at me, you shouted at me, that you loved me...
My treacherous little heart trembled within my breasts.
I bent the irons for the little goldfinch...
I stole a small crack, I flew numb
But the little girl was missing, I was left bewildered...
I started singing to her, crying and shouting.
I'm flying like a bird, but I'm not smiling.
In all my sadness, I forgot that I was alive...
To the gift you gave me... I was indifferent...
I fell from the skies, as if winter had come
I missed the prison where I was a regular!
Love, my good friend, accomplishes everything.
Hope is given generously, you fast and you have it!
Just hurry up, don't leave and miss her.
Because you're a monk in prison, you'll want to get through!
