Dionysis Leimonis was born in Aetoliko, Etoloakarnania. From a very early age he turned to writing children's and youth stories. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of Ioannina. He lives in Nea Ionia, Volos and works in Secondary Education. He writes articles in newspapers and magazines as well as writes literary works. He is involved in the editing and critique of works for children and adults, the presentation of books, many of which he has prefaced, the organization of literary and literary events, the organization of creative writing seminars for children and adults, but also for primary and secondary school teachers (Holder of a certificate in Creative Writing from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a postgraduate student in the Department of Creative Writing of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 7,5 of Volos. He is also responsible for communication with authors and creators for the last 5 years in a great event in Volos, the Children and Adolescent Book Festival in collaboration with the Association of Parents and Guardians of Primary and Secondary Education of Volos. Maintains the column "11 + 1 questions" on Bookia.gr with interviews with writers and illustrators. He is the editor-in-chief of a weekly literary show for children's books on Web Tv of Bookia.gr. She teaches Children's Literature and Creative Writing at the Department of Kindergarten Teachers and Infants of IEK DIMITRA in Volos and Larissa. He has also participated with his poems and short stories in collective publications and anthologies. His children's novel entitled "The Scent of Courtesy", by Nama, is about to be published, as it won 2nd prize in the 1st Orthodox Christian Children's Book Competition 2020 in the "Unpublished Book of Knowledge" Category.
