Sofia Sklida was born in Athens. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens. She holds a Master's Degree in Pedagogy, a PhD in Comparative Pedagogy and a Certificate of Completion of her Post-Doctoral Research, at the Faculty of Theology of the same University. He works as a Philologist in Public Secondary Education. He publishes articles in prestigious scientific journals and conference proceedings. He has organized international and domestic literary events, won prizes in respective competitions, is a member of literary committees, and has edited various related collective publishing actions. Her poems have been translated into English, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Albanian and Bengali. He has published in Greece and abroad a total of 19 books, which include poetry collections, poetic narratives, fairy tales, scientific textbooks. She is the Vice-President - Responsible for the cultural issues of the Zakynthos Cultural Center of Athens, an active member of the Society of Greek Writers as well as the Committee for judging new members and finally, a member of the Panhellenic Union of Writers.
