Mr Karys is an international start-up evangelist , angel investor and a Mentor/Judge/ Presenter at Start-up Accelerators, such as MIT Enterprise Forum of Greece, MassChallenge (Boston), TechStars (Cambridge), CapsuleT Accelerator , Hellenic Innovation Network, Mass Innovation Network and others. He has been an adviser to numerous start-ups such as Soli, OpenRounds, Zoottle, MaterNova, CloudCarib, Mashlink and others. Moreover, Mr Karys has held senior software development positions, such as CTO/VP Of Product Development/VP of Engineering at companies, including but not limited to Data General, Amazon, mShopper, InterQual/Mckesson and Authoriszor. Mr Karys was born in Greece and emigrated to the US at a young age with his parents. He lives near Boston and is married to his with of many years Margie, Margie and they have two adult sons. Mr Karys earned BET and MBA degrees from Northeastern University In Boston , and he also attended the S.E.E.P . program at Stanford University.
