HICD-USA based in Nashville is a one of 15 branch nations established in 2017 by Dr. Peter Dennis Kapsaskis as a non-profit devoted to Cultural Diplomacy through the building of rich and robust cultural and academic collaborations between the host countries and Greece. Beginning our fifth year as a branch, HICD-USA presents both live and virtual programs celebrating the enormous contributions of the Greeks throughout History, as well as the rich contemporary artistic scene and explorations of modern issues through academic and scientific panels and articles. We continue to build a vast network of talented Greeks across nine areas of focus: Academics, Science, Art & Architecture, Dance, Theater, Music, Film & Photography, Museums, and Fashion.
Some highlights over the past four years include:
-initiating and co-sponsoring a six month exhibition of the Antikythera Mechanism at the Parthenon.
