Kostas Kallergis, Lawyer at the Supreme Court

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Political Science of the Pantheon University of Athens.
Poet, Mandinadologist, known by the pseudonym K.I.G.K.. He was born in Loutra, Arkadiou municipality, Rethymno and Rethymno is his permanent residence and seat where he practices law. Member of the Greek Writers' Association and Member of the Association of Editors of the Cretan Press.
Vice-President of the Rethymnon Prefectural Reserve Officers Association, Vice-President of the Vrakoforos Club of Crete, Member of the Association of Cretan Poets "Mich. Kavkalas", Vice-President of the Cultural Association of Loutras, Member of Cultural Associations, speaks French and writes articles in the newspapers of Crete as and in scientific journals.
Poet-Mandinadologist and musician, he plays the lyre, lute, mandolin, mandola and bouzouki fluently since his student years, later participating in his student years in the orchestra of the Cretan Student Center in Athens and other amateur orchestras.
His first lessons in poetry and music were taught by his father, who played the mandolin and was a well-known songwriter, storyteller and great reveler.
His first publications in poetry were made under the pseudonym Aposperitis in the 1970s and later he indulged in satirical rants where he became known under the pseudonym K.I.G.K., slandering political events and criticizing public life, which the year, he gave his mandina the weight of a criticism, which captured the feeling of the world.

Through his comprehensive position on life, he has written a series of mandinades of philosophical and emotional quests, a significant part of which are included in his first book "Mandinades and songs of Crete". He has been distinguished in Pan-Hellenic and Pan-Cretan mantinada and poetry competitions.
He has published three Volumes of Cretan Fairy Tales as well as MANTINADES AND SONGS OF CRETE with three reprints as well as a Poetry Collection "ANTHAKANTHA" FORTY YEARS OF KING.
His son Andreas Kallergis is Professor of Public and International Tax Law at the Sorbonne in Paris.
And his son Dimitris Kallergis is a Director and works as a Trailer Director at MEGA CHANNEL.
