A journalist has received threats from the Taliban that if she does not wear a burqa, she will be expelled from the country. People are watching this situation in Afghanistan icy and frightened and that they have fallen into the hands of a terrorist gang called the Taliban.
We have also noticed that women in Afghanistan are now more conservative and wear burqas. Even a CNN reporter went on the air as required by the Taliban.
Journalist Clarissa Ward described the situation in her country, stating that: "I see a lot of men, I see a lot of kids, I see a lot of women, but they are definitely a lot less than they would see on a day in Kabul, and even those on the go are dressed more conservatively than they were yesterday while walking down the street." .
He added: "I see more burqas than I usually see, obviously I am also dressed very differently than I would normally dress to walk the streets of Kabul."
The Taliban have invaded Afghanistan and enforced their own laws. Now things are gone and people are starting to get into new rhythms and new situations and now they are in the new era of the Taliban.
The photo also circulated on the media and made an impression and went viral everywhere showing the brutal behavior of the Taliban towards women.
The journalist, however, took the trouble to explain the photos taken on social media and tells us that: "This meme is inaccurate" he said. "The photo above was taken inside a private complex. Or under the streets of Kabul which are under the control of the Taliban. I have always worn handkerchiefs on the streets of Kabul in the past, although I did not have my hair completely covered. So there is a difference but not so strong».
The last time the Taliban was in Afghanistan was 20 years ago, when women were not allowed out in public and had no opinion and did not leave unaccompanied by their husbands. This fear has returned to many women, that with the Taliban regaining power they will return to the same conditions that prevailed 20 years ago.
