Invitation to parents or persons who have parental care or custody, foster parents, guardians or assistants, Legal Representatives of infants and children of preschool and school age, children, adolescents and persons with disabilities who wish to accommodate their children in structures corresponding to the their age, for the period 2024-2025.
The action aims to ensure equal and inclusive access for children, especially children in need, to quality education and training services at pre-school and school age, in alignment with the specific provisions of EU Recommendation 2021/1004 for the establishment of a European Child Guarantee.
Also, the action aims at the access of children, teenagers and the disabled, to services of extracurricular activities of creative employment in accordance with Law 4941/2022/Article 104 (Government Gazette 113/A/16-6-2022).
The action is implemented through an annual Call for Program cycle, with a maximum duration of eleven (11) months, corresponding to the 2024-2025 school year, from September 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
All benefiting children are granted a "Placement Value" (Voucher), in order to enroll in a Structure/Organizer and in a position corresponding to the one they are entitled to.
Target Audience
The legal representative of the child or person with a disability who is:
- Parent of an infant, preschool, school age child, teenager and person with a disability
- A person who has custody of the child by court order
- A person who has been appointed a legal guardian or exercises custody of the guardian by court order, or is a foster parent with active foster care in the National Registry of Approved Foster Care.
It should be noted that, in case of custody or co-custody, the application is submitted by:
- ONLY the person to whom custody has been granted by court order or ONE (1) of the persons who have joint custody.
If more than one application is submitted for the same child by a different legal representative, both applications will be rejected.
Submission period
from 11/7/2024 to 1/8/2024 (and time 23:59)
To ensure participation, each interested party must complete and submit ELECTRONICLY the "Participation Application", in the application that will be available on the EETAA website (www.eetaa.gr), following the instructions of the relevant manual, which is attached to the Invitation.
Application for participation is submitted from 11/7/2024, time 16:00 to 01/8/2024, time 23:59.
The introduction to the application will be made with the taxisnet codes, exclusively of the Legal Representative.
What is funded
"Placement value" (voucher) the consideration paid to the Agency for the provision of care and accommodation services in its structure/structures, on behalf of the beneficiary child or person with a disability, following the relevant authorization of their legal representative to EETAA, in accordance with the maximum price limits, as stated in no. 7 of the Invitation and defined in no. 6 of Decree No. 47217/20.05.2023 of the Official Gazette, hereinafter voucher.
Budget
€ 291.200.000
The total budget of the Program amounts to €361.200.000 and will be covered by appropriations related to the national PDE and co-financed part (amounting to €291.200.000) and by appropriations from the regular budget of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family (amounting to 70.000.000 €).
