To those who think that Greece does not matter today, let me say that they could not make a bigger mistake. Today, like old Greece, is of the utmost importance for anyone looking to find himself.

The 2023 Budget will be submitted to the Plenary Session of the Parliament on Monday by the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras.

The Economic Affairs Committee will work on the draft budget between November 23 and 25, while the debate in the Plenary of the Parliament will start on December 13 and end with a resolution on December 17.

Today, Wednesday, November 16, the bill of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs entitled "Rationalization of insurance and pension legislation - Strengthening Vulnerable Social Groups and other provisions" was submitted.

According to information, by the 7th of December the Plenary will also have voted the bill for the restructuring of the EYP, which is in a consultation that will be completed on the 22nd of November.

The staff of the Ministry of Finance does not let information slip about the existence of additional support measures in the plan submitted on Monday. The minister, speaking at CEO Initiative Forum 2022 he said that the possibility is open, since "in the last three years I have not ruled out anything and everything is possible because we live in conditions of high uncertainty".

Despite all this, it became known that the forecast for inflation will be revised, which will move to higher levels than predicted, i.e. close to 10%, instead of 8,8% that was initially predicted. Regarding the growth rate, it will be at higher levels, close to 6%. For 2023, it is estimated that Greece will maintain positive growth rates, in a much better position than European forecasts, but it will be at a lower rate than in 2022.
