Monica is a top communication and marketing professional highly experienced in the multicultural U.S. market, corporate events, social media, branding, market penetration, and business development.
As a pioneer in networking with a cause, Monica founded Latin Business Club of America (LBCA) in 2000. She led the networking organization for thirteen years, growing it into a multimedia business that included Latinbiz print/ online magazine (Editor), Biz Talk radio show (Host, Producer), 12,000+ members, and top national accounts. Monica enjoys sharing her marketing expertise and personal business experiences in a relaxed and, at times, humorous manner to guide other entrepreneurs in achieving professional and spiritual goals. She is passionate about addressing women’s issues such as education, women in technology, self-development, healthcare, ageism, economic empowerment, aging, and violence. She currently serves as an Advisor in the Women (UCCS) Leadership Program, University of Colorado Colorado Springs (Active Term: 08/2023 - 08/2024)
