Chef Tony was born in Cairo, Egypt. His grandparents all came from the Aegean islands.
He has spent 48 years in the restaurant trade as a Chef, restaurant owner, culinary instructor, restaurant consultant, and cook-book author.
Studied and worked in South Africa from 1974 to 1994, another 20 professional years in Athens, Greece from 1994 to 2014 and since then living and working in the USA. Founder of, TheGreekChef.us and Savor Greece channel on YouTube creating videos that promote the Greek tradition and gastronomic culture.
The 3 ingredients he stands by are Greek salt, Greek herbs and Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Ο Chef Τονυ γεννηθηκε στο Καιρο Αιγυπτου. Η καταγωγη των παππουδων του ειναι απο νησια του Αιγαιου.
Ασχολειται επαγγελματικα με την γαστρονομια επι 48 ετη ως, Chef, εστιατορας, καθηγητης μαγειρικης τεχνης, συμβουλος εστιατοριων και συγγραφεας βιβλιων μαγειρικης.
Σπουδασε στην Νοτιο Αφρικη οπου και εργαστηκε απο το 1974 εως το 1994. Στη συνεχεια επεστρεψε στην Ελλαδα για αλλα 20 επαγγελματικα χρονια εως το 2014 και τωρα ζει και εργαζεται στην Αμερικη.
Ιδρυτης της ιστοσελιδας TheGreekChef.us καθως και του Savor Greece channel στο YouTube απο οπου προβαλει βιντεο με την παραδοση της Ελλαδας και γαστρονομικο πολιτισμο.
Τα 3 υλικα που δεν λειπουν ποτα απο την κουζινα του ειναι, Ελληνικο αλατι, Ελληνικα μυρωδικα και Ελληνικο Εξτρα Παρθενο Ελαιολαδο.
