It is a fact that both the immigration and demographic problems have not occupied all governments as much as they should. However, from the current one, how can we expect it to deal with them, when it does not find time due to the successive scandals.
Greek society is aging at a dangerous rate, and the demographic problem only seems to be... exorcised. The speed of population growth rates aging, the continuous migration outflows of young scientists abroad, due to insecurity, underemployment and working conditions, the economic difficulties that prevent the creation of a family, as well as the inability of the rulers to improve the daily lives of citizens, have brought about a disappointing mutation of today's society, have exhausted our country, but also the hope of young people for a better future. The most ominous forecasts report a population decline that will exceed 25% by 2075 and will be one of the most impressive declines on the European continent.
I also read that a study by the European University of Cyprus attempts to determine, based on valid and official demographic data, the time when the measurement of our country's demographics will be able to present a fundamentally satisfactory result. Its estimates stagger the human mind!
It is a fact that both the immigrant as well as the demographic problem did not concern all the governments from time to time as much as it should. However, from the present one, how can we expect it to deal with it, when it does not find time from the successive scandals. The scientific imagination of the rulers to deal with these scandals is unparalleled, and the time to find the truth exceeds… four years!
Humor is essential in our lives, and much more so today! KYR makes sure to provide it to us every day, elaborate, rich and caustic. Commenting on this Algerian reality, he writes: "Romans came, Venetians came, Franks came, Arabs came, Turks came, Germans came, Americans came, immigrants came... Shit, ONLY THE GREEKS ARE LEAVING!"
