I was born and raised in a small village, named Vresthena, near the historic city of Sparta, Greece, and grew up during the brutal German occupation, followed by the horrors of the Greek civil war. During my traumatic childhood years, I survived famine, sickness, and fear of death. I was fortunate to immigrate to America to live the American dream and publish my life story.
