Trial Attorney
Michael J. Reppas
As a trial attorney, I have handled and resolved multi-million dollar claims involving complex business litigation, commercial breaches of contract, and international disputes. I have represented domestic and international corporations and individuals in drafting, negotiating and enforcing contracts and countless other civil matters, both small and large.
As an artist, I am proud of my creative achievements. I have published historical fiction and numerous academic articles that have been cited by hundreds of students and competing authors. As a lyricist and bass guitarist, I have been fortunate to have recorded, collaborated and worked with many talented musicians, engineers and producers. I am also a strong advocate for the recovery of looted antiquities and cultural artifacts and am the founder of a not-for-profit organization devoted to returning stolen art and artifacts to their rightful owners.
Over the years, my practice has expanded to combine my business, antiquities and art law knowledge with my personal involvement in the world of art and entertainment. My practice affords me the opportunity to focus on the business and creative endeavors of my clients, because I understand the needs of businesses and institutions as well as the needs of the artists (the creators). I am thankful that my practice allows me to connect both worlds.
Whatever your plans, whatever the dispute, whatever the issue, I’ve likely seen it, I’ve likely dealt with it, and I’ve likely resolved it. Whether you are a business owner, a museum or an artist, author or musician negotiating a deal here or abroad, whatever your needs, I am happy to represent you.
