A main opposition SYRIZA Progressive Alliance delegation will visit the National Intelligence Service (EYP) on Tuesday at 17:00 and meet the newly appointed EYP Chief Themistoklis Demiris, party sources said. The same sources said that the delegation, led by the secretary of the party’s Central Committee and former Citizen Protection Minister Olga Gerovassili and the party’s sector head for citizen protection Christos Spirtzis, has requested an immediate meeting with Demiris “for explanations regarding the revelations that EYP and the Centre of Technological Support, Development and Innovation (KETYAK) have received orders from highranking EYP officials to destroy evidence and phone surveillance material.”
